Finish

For ‘10 anyway. My employment here has come to an end and it is time for me to travel. This has not been the best of summers here in AK. I hope the overall depressing mood that has hung in the air hasn’t come through in too many of these photos. This project although fun was challenging at times just because of the conditions here. Im not sure if I will attempt this again or even if I will ever be here again, Life rolls on-

Wow, we actually had a visable sunset...

Sorry, creativity is at an all time low here...

With the surprise arrival of the largest pink salmon return in history the entire commercial fishing industry in this region has been caught off-guard. From the deckhands all the way through the process to the cold storage facilities in the states. It has been an extreme challenge that many have risen to overcome it. Working in the shipping part of this process I find myself working close to 100 hours a week-

You can add internet connectivity too the outside world onto the list of things in Cordova that are held together like this pickup truck….
