Responsible for a vast majority of Cordova’s economy the Copper River Salmon fishery gets underway for the 2010 season. Dennis reels a freshly mended gill net from the back of my truck onto his boat the Meghan Denise in preparation for tomorrows 12 hour ‘opener’ (fishing period).
